How to Use CSD Learns STEM Resources in Your Classroom
CSD Learns has been busy developing STEM educational materials for middle school classrooms. In the past few months, our team took our first foray into developing STEM materials for elementary and high school classrooms – and we want to make sure you know how to use our STEM resources.
Our goal is to create innovative, ready-made presentations that teachers can start using immediately to supplement their school’s curricula — along with online instruction delivery! Part of CSD Learns’ pedagogical approach is a strong emphasis on intersectional, diverse deaf/hh role models who are featured throughout our materials. Now that CSD Learns has a broad expanse of STEM educational materials for K-12 STEM educators to use, we want to make sure educators know how to use our STEM resources with their deaf and hard of hearing students.
On March 23, 2020, we hosted our first Teacher’s Toolkit-focused webinar. We showed educators of deaf and hard of hearing students how to use our STEM education resources through online instruction.
